The restoration of the historical facade of the building in Riga, 26 Krisjana Valdemara Street, built in the neoclassical style, has been completed. This is a cultural historical building, the facade of which was restored in 2021 by order of VAS “Valsts nekustamie \u012bpa\u0161umi” (SCJC \u201cState Real Estate Agency\u201d) and now, thanks to the work of AS “B\u016bvuz\u0146\u0113mums Restaurators”, has returned to its former appearance.<\/p>\n

The building in Riga, 36 Kr. Valdemara Street, was built in 1913 according to the project of the architect Rudolph Philip Donberg as a six-storey brick apartment building of A. Leinert with a basement in volumetric Art Nouveau plastics and architectural artistic decoration in the style of neoclassicism.<\/p>\n

The building is now known as the location of the 2nd Riga branch of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs. Renewal works will continue next year with balconies and historic windows; it is planned to construct a ramp at the main entrance to the building, and an elevator inside the premises, thereby ensuring accessibility for people with mobility impairments.<\/p>\n

An agreement to carry out the works has been concluded with AS “B\u016bvuz\u0146\u0113mums Retsurators”, which must complete them by the summer of 2022. About 1.22 million euros are invested in the renovation of the external appearance of the building and the internal premises, which are covered by the capital investments of VAS “Valsts nekustamie \u012bpa\u0161umi”.<\/p>\n
